A social—and connected—race!

The Jogg dans la Ville race is a social sports event organised by the Sport dans la Ville organisation to raise funds to further develop its activities (sports programmes and occupational integration) for 7,000 young people. The Sport dans la Ville organisation has been active for more than 20 years in priority neighbourhoods, helping young people to integrate socially and professionally.

This inter-company race has existed for over 6 years and is now 100% connected following the health crisis. The concept is simple: all participating companies gather their employees in teams of six. There are two distances possible: 6 or 10km. The event is then time-tracked using a sports application or a smartwatch.

Overview – the challenge in 4 steps:

✅  The team chooses its challenge: 6 or 10km
✅  Participants connect to the Jogg dans la Ville challenge via a dedicated application
✅  Participants complete their time on their preferred route between Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd October (using a sports app or smartwatch)
✅  Axione celebrates the team’s result and, most importantly, everyone’s commitment to sport and solidarity

From preparation to the big day

After the registration stage, participants spent a month preparing. The 10 teams resumed their running sessions—a key stage in their physical preparation—in order to be in shape for the 2nd and 3rd of October.

On the big day, the employees set off on the route of their choice, anywhere in France, and got to experience the excitement of the competition through live individual and team rankings. All employees, regardless of their sporting ability, had the opportunity to take part in this fun, friendly event.

We would like to congratulate the AXIONE – ArchiRunner team for their first place finish in the team rankings, Grégory Perriat who came first in the individual ranking for the 6km challenge, including all teams, and all other participants for their involvement!

TEAM RANKINGS – 6KM
